Hello, I’m Mike Smith, and through my State Farm office in San Luis Obispo, CA, I work with individuals, families, and business owners who want straightforward guidance and a local team that takes the time to understand what matters most to them. For me, this work has always been about connection, listening, and helping people protect the things they care about most.

My wife and I made the Central Coast of California our home 17 years ago, and it’s been an incredible place to raise our family and build strong relationships. We spend a lot of time enjoying the ocean, surfing, and hiking the hills around San Luis Obispo. Our family also proudly supports Cal Poly, and we even have immediate relatives currently enrolled there, which keeps us closely connected to the local community.Over the past decade, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding the full range of State Farm options available to help customers prepare for life’s changes. I work closely with people on Auto, Homeowners, Condo, Renters, Business, Life, and coverage for Motorcycle, Recreational Vehicles, Boat, and Pet needs, always explaining how each option fits real‐world situations.
